The Art of Sound Healing Level 2

Join us for a 5-day adventure with your soul sound family on Orcas Island September 5 – 9, 2024
Open to all students of sound healing who have completed our Level 1 Art of Sound Healing or a similar certified training
Imagine being on this beautiful and sacred land for 5 days of hands-on learning and celebration with master teachers in voice, gong, shamanic sound healing, advanced sound healing techniques, and musical knowledge of singing bowls and voice.
There will be ample time to wander acres of natural forest, swim in the Salish Sea and commune with nature. Evenings will be filled with song circles, fire ceremonies, and sound baths with gongs and bowls.
The Sound Temple will bring lots of instruments, including singing bowls, gongs, rattles and some frame drums. These will be available to loan if you don’t have instruments of your own.

Rooms are shared accommodations in Wally Fisher Lodge. There will be a few single accommodations available for extra cost. Please let us know if you are interested in single accommodations.

Thursday, September 5
- Catch the 1:55 pm ferry from Anacortes
- Arrive Orcas Island at 2:45. The camp bus will pick up everyone who parks on the Anacortes side and walks onto the ferry. We highly recommend this option! Ferry reservations are quite tight.
- 3:00 pm: Arrive to camp. Check-in to cabins and free time.
- 6:00 pm dinner in the lodge.
- 7:30 – 9:00 pm: Fire Circle
Friday, September 6
- 7:00 am: Optional morning breathwork with Roger, yoga or dip in Salish Sea before breakfast
- 8:30 – 9:30: Breakfast
- 10:00: Opening Circle and Session 1

IRENE IRIS INGALLS
Sound Healing Practitioner & Teacher, Founder of Seattle Sound Temple
Irene is the founder of the Seattle Sound Temple. She began her sound healing training in 2004, studying with world renowned sound healer and teacher, Tom Kenyon, and sound healing pioneer and teacher Jonathan Goldman.
Incorporating her deep connection with the wisdom teachings of the ancient traditions and a variety of energetic healing modalities, she has maintained her private practice in sound healing for 18 years working with individual clients and groups of all sizes.
Irene’s vision is to co-create sound healing sanctuaries throughout the world, devoted to healing through the transformational power of sound.
ROGER TJOELKER
Gong Practitioner & Trainer, Breath Facilitator
Roger Tjoelker is the founder of Blosm Studio and Transformative Sound, LLC. Roger is a professional gong player and Transformational Breath facilitator. Formerly a corporate CFO, he first heard the gongs played at a Transformational Breath Seminar and instantly knew that he had to learn to play and bring this amazing sound energy to others.
He offers group and private gong sound immersions and uses a variety of gongs to provide a full spectrum of transformative sound energy. He has partnered with Mehtab Benton and Wayne Marto to teach various gong courses. His mission is to facilitate positive transformation in people’s lives with Presence, Gongs, and Transformational Breath. VICKIE DODD
Sound Healing Therapist, Bodyworker, Workshop Leader, Musician
Vickie Dodd, founder of Sacred SoundWorks, is an internationally known pioneer in the field of sound as bodywork. An Aston- Patterning teacher, author, poet, nutritionist, herbalist, workshop leader, and musician, Vickie started using sound as a healing modality in her work with her clients more than 50 years ago.
She designed a system that integrates emotional memories within the physical body and facilitates the release of long-held emotional distress.
Vickie has become one of the most recognized healers and teachers of sound healing worldwide. She collaborated with Don Campbell in the Institute of Music and Health Education in Boulder, Colorado, and is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Globe Institute in San Francisco.
She is the author of Tuning the Blues to Gold: Soundprints and has several audio recordings available. We highly recommend reading her current book release, Healing Through Sound: Awakening your Audible Body. It is a fantastic book!
ASHERA SERFATY
Shamanic Energy Medicine, Sound Healing Practitioner and Transformational Coach
Ashera Serfaty has been weaving the traditions of mystical shamanic energy medicine, sound healing alchemy, and other holistic approaches to transformation for the past 20 years. She has served and empowered 1000’s of people on their life journeys and supported them in awakening to their highest potential. One of her passions is teaching others the shamanic traditions of healing with drums and rattles, utilizing spirit, sound and indigenous wisdom. Ashera masterfully leads ceremonies, workshops, trainings and retreats. She has also led annual pilgrimages to Peru for the last 15 years working closely with Andean Indigenous Wisdom Keepers that consider her family. KAREN KNIGHT
Professional Pianist, Piano Teacher, Sound Healing Practitioner
Music was Karen’s first fluent language. Her musical path led her to become a classical pianist through her degree at the prestigious Jacobs School of Music. She has been teaching piano since she was 20 years old. During her musical career, Karen became aware of the healing power of sound. She has pursued this interest by becoming a certified Sound Healer and opening her own practice. For the past two years Karen has worked at the Seattle Sound Temple. Karen co-teaches the Sound Healing trainings, leads weekly sound baths and brings her expertise, intuition and love for the alchemy singing bowls to expertly guide others who are acquiring these beautiful instruments.
